The Philosophy
Manara Practice Group was created in response to the growing complexity of work across education, mental health and community settings.
While this work is deeply important, it is often done without the consistent space, reflection and practical support required to sustain it.
Manara exists to offer that space.
Grounded in reflective, culturally responsive and evidence-informed frameworks, the vision of Manara Practice Group is to not only strengthen practice, but to sustain the people behind it.
The Practice
-
Clinical supervision offers a dedicated space for practitioners to reflect on their work, strengthen their practice, and navigate the complexity that comes with supporting others.
Grounded in culturally responsive and evidence-informed approaches, supervision at Manara supports practitioners to explore challenges, strengthen decision-making, and build clarity and confidence in their work.

-
Group Reflective Practice provides facilitated, psychologically safe spaces for teams to pause, process complex experiences, and strengthen their professional practice together.
Through structured reflection rather than problem-solving, participants develop deeper insight, build resilience, enhance collaboration, and reconnect with the purpose behind their work.

Manara offers specialised consultancy to support service and educational responses to complex, high-risk presentations.
A key focus of our consultancy is supporting schools and organisations to hold and respond to complexity in a way that is both practical and sustainable — particularly in the context of cumulative risk, critical incidents, and the ongoing demands placed on educators and practitioners.
Manara also brings a culturally informed lens to this work, offering consultation that supports thoughtful and respectful engagement with diverse communities, particularly Muslim students, families and communities, or those with ties to the Middle East.
