Group Reflective Practice
Illuminating space to think, connect and sustain.
Professionals working in education, health, mental health and community services regularly navigate complexity, uncertainty and emotionally demanding work. Without opportunities to reflect, these experiences can contribute to stress, burnout, compassion fatigue and reduced wellbeing.
Group Reflective Practice (GRP) offers a structured, facilitated process that enables teams to make sense of challenging work, strengthen professional judgement, and learn collectively. Rather than focusing on finding immediate solutions, reflective practice encourages thoughtful exploration of experiences, relationships and the broader systems in which we work.
Our Group Reflective Practice sessions are designed to:
Foster psychologically safe conversations.
Support reflection following challenging or emotionally demanding work.
Strengthen critical thinking and professional judgement.
Reduce isolation and promote peer support.
Enhance team cohesion and communication.
Build reflective and resilient organisational cultures.
Support wellbeing while maintaining high-quality practice.
Sessions can be facilitated as a one-off or on an ongoing basis and are carefully facilitated to ensure every participant feels respected, heard and able to contribute at their own pace.
